中秋の候、皆様に置かれましては、ご清祥のこととお喜び申し上げます。
１０月の企画展、三村伸絵個展を開催いたします。
三村伸絵は日本画家で、２００５年にひきつづき NICHE GALLERY では二回目の個展になります。
氏の作品にかいま見られる構成とモチーフのユニークさには戦慄的な新鮮さがあります。そこには、三村伸絵の描写の天賦の才がいかんなく発揮されています。日本画家の誰もが描く自然観照の表現力が三村伸絵の場合は、名もない見すごされるような草木との出逢いが、この女流作家の一期一会のイデアとして愛情を描き切ることに成功しています。
また、11月にはこの作品群はニューヨーク、グリニッジビレッジに巡回いたします。評論家でもあり、日本文化に精通した、ジェフリー・シューウァー氏の私邸にて個展が始まります。三村伸絵の美空間を通じて、日本人の持つ特有の美意識をいま一度、この時代のアメリカの人々に問いかけていきたいと考えています。

Since ancient times, the sun and the moon have been objects of
invocations and subject matter of picture scrolls and folding screens. People have benn placing meditation of their hearts on art and music. We are always moved by the beautiful spectacles created by the sun disk and the moon disk.. Actually, not only men and women but also tiny insects and birds, plants and flowers respond to the luminous rays from the sun disk and the moon disk.. And then, one new universe emerges. When you abandon yourself to nature and listen to what animate things are speaking, you can touch the truth of plants, trees and flowers. And then, the moment will come to you to create sincere relationship between you and nature. I would like to depict the moment of truth, the universe having the benefits of powdered mineral pigments which never lose colors more than a thousand years, pliable rice paper and richly expressive SUMI (Japanese ink). |
